The brand\u2019s unique positioning as both a producer and a retailer helps streamline process control, so they can offer high-quality products at a fair price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intermarch\u00e9 has always kept pace with the times, driving innovation to meet new customer needs and expectations in everything it does &#8211; and customer communication is no exception! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Sinch, the brand found the partner they needed to breathe new life into their campaigns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenge: Bringing fun and excitement to the grocery shopping experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s face it: for most customers, grocery shopping is boring, often considered a chore. As an innovation-driven, customer-obsessed company, Intermarch\u00e9 knows that engaging customers in retail isn\u2019t just about product and price. It\u2019s also about the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So how do you bring fun and excitement to the grocery shopping experience? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution: Enhancing customer experience with rich messaging and conversational AI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Intermarch\u00e9 needed a partner to help them explore new campaign formats and make customer experience more engaging. That\u2019s where Sinch stepped in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinch\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sinch.com\/products\/apis\/messaging\/rich-sms\/\">SMS with rich landing page<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sinch.com\/products\/customer-engagement\/chatlayer\/\">conversational AI<\/a> were a perfect fit for creating more immersive experiences, and the Intermarch\u00e9 team was excited to explore untapped alternatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intermarch\u00e9\u2019s newsletter includes a section on recipe inspiration, and the team decided to experiment with its content. With Sinch\u2019s help, they developed a recipe generator bot our <a href=\"https:\/\/sinch.com\/products\/customer-engagement\/chatlayer\/\">conversational AI platform &#8211; Chatlayer<\/a>. Subscribers who clicked through on the recipe section of the newsletter were taken to a page where the chatbot asked them about eating habits and preferences and suggested custom recipes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sinch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Intermache-chatbot.png\" alt=\"Intermarche chatbot\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They also used <a href=\"https:\/\/sinch.com\/products\/apis\/messaging\/rich-sms\/\">Sinch Rich SMS<\/a> to promote their loyalty program and drive-thru service playfully, with personalized content and call-to-action buttons encouraging customers to play a game hosted on a landing page. The landing page as integrated part of SMS campaign is created using the same intuitive, drag and drop interface of Campaigns solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Results: Rich, immersive experiences and true differentiation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Intermarch\u00e9\u2019s Rich SMS and conversational AI campaigns achieved excellent results, with a 59% customer AI bot engagement rate.
