What is a turtle OES?
Quite simply, the Turtles are a drinking fraternity that exists in the United States of America as a fun-and-honor group usually within the local lodge or post, sort of a side degree. Turtles have no dues or initiation fee, so they just ask new members to join them. Turtles have been around for a long time, but have only recently begun to expand their membership to include more and more people from all walks of life.
Turtles also have a reputation for being a little rough around the edges, especially when it comes to dealing with other members of the fraternity. This reputation is not undeserved, as many of their members have had to deal with a lot of bad behavior from their fellow Turtles. In fact, most of them are very nice people who just want to have fun and have some good times together.
