What does an alligator breath smell like?
I can tell you from first hand experience that alligators have the most amazing breath in the world, because I get to hang out within sneezing distance of the amazing reptiles. Alligator breath is made up of a combination of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide. These gases are released from the gator’s gills when it breathes.
The gas is so strong that it can be inhaled through the nostrils and exhaled out the mouth. Alligators can breathe for up to 20 minutes at a time, which is why they are known as “snake breathers” because of how long they can hold their breath. They are also known to be able to breathe underwater for as long as 30 minutes.
This means that if you were to hold your breath for an hour, you would still be breathing air. It is also important to note that gators do not breathe through their mouths. Instead, they use their snouts to suck air into their lungs and then exhale the air out of their mouth as they breathe. Gators have a unique way of breathing that is similar to that of humans.
Do alligators smell period blood?
