Do tortoises like to travel?

Can turtles travel in car?
For travel in the car, your turtle can be placed in a plastic box such as a storage container. If you want turtles to get out of the box easily, you’ll want something that closes securely, even though holes can be drilled in the lid.
If you are planning to keep a turtle for a long period of time, you may want to consider a cage that is large enough for the turtle to be able to stretch out and stretch its legs. If you have a large turtle, it may be best to buy a larger cage than the one you plan to use.
A large cage may also be necessary if you do not want the turtles to have access to food and water.
How do you transport a tortoise in the winter?
You can transport your pet reptile in an insulated environment such as a Styrofoam or other insulated coolers to maintain heat. If your reptile is small enough, you can wrap it in a towel and put it in the cooler. If you have a large bearded dragon, it may be best to transport it in its own enclosure.

Do you need to acclimate turtles?
