Is Snake Eyes a prequel to Rise of Cobra?
Eyes was first played on the big screen by Ray Park in 2009’s G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and again in 2013’s G.I. Joe: Retaliation, while Snake Eyes is a reboot for the franchise and an origin story for one of the most iconic characters in the series. The film will be directed by Michael Bay, who also helmed Transformers: Age of Extinction, and is being produced by Bay’s Platinum Dunes production company.
