Does Solid Snake die in mgs5?
He died of a heart problem. He didn’t have a lot of time left to live, and he was going to die soon. In the end, he died in the same way as he did in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
He was killed by a bullet to the back of his head from a sniper rifle, which was fired by Solid Snake, who was in turn shot by Liquid Ocelot, the leader of FOXHOUND, in an attempt to kill him. Liquid managed to escape from the scene, leaving the body of Big Boss behind.

How did Big Boss die?

In the game’s prologue, the player is given the choice of whether or not they want to play as Snake.
