“Turtleman” (real name Ernie Brown Jr.) made his return to Animal Planet last night in two new episodes of Call of the Wild. In the first episode, Turtleman and his crew are on a mission to rescue a young bear cub that has been captured by a pack of coyotes. The cub is being held in a cage by the coyote’s mother, who is trying to get the cub away from her cubs.
When the crew arrives at the scene, they find that the mother has already been killed by her own pack, leaving only the young cub to fend for himself. After a brief chase, the team is able to capture the bear and bring him back to their camp. However, as they are preparing to leave the area, one of their dogs is attacked by another pack and is killed.
Unfortunately, this is not to be the case, and the group soon finds themselves in the middle of an all-out war between the Coyote and Bear packs, with both sides attempting to destroy the other’s territory.
