A massive 10-foot-long alligator was found Monday morning in Northeast Houston. A photo of an alligator hanging out under an SUV was posted on social media by Harris County Precinct 4. This is the most recent instance of an alligator being spotted in the Houston area.
Office said they received a call from a resident who said he saw a large, 10 foot gator in his yard. Deputies responded to the scene and found the reptile hanging from the roof of a parked SUV.

An alligator was discovered at the front door of a Lake Houston home. Department responded to a call about the gator at a home in the 7300 block of Westheimer Road around 11:30 a.m.
The homeowner told officials he found the reptile in his front yard, according to the fire department. Firefighters were able to tranquilize the animal and remove it from the home, which is located on a cul-de-sac. No one was injured during the incident.
