Alligators can be found in both South Carolina and North Carolina. (FWC) has issued a warning to the public about alligators in the Everglades National Park. The warning comes after a man was bitten by an alligator while swimming in Lake Okeechobee.
According to a press release from the FWC, the man, who has not been identified, was swimming with a group of friends at the lake when he was attacked. He was treated at a local hospital for a bite to his arm, and is expected to make a full recovery.
